We need your help!
We need your help! Since 2018, Scuba Bay Area has partnered with Bamboo Reef, and while their operations have sadly ended, we have an opportunity to bring part of the team back on a smaller scale.
We’re looking to rent or purchase the pool and adjacent building in front of Bamboo Reef. The current tenants—two great people—are willing to relocate if we can find them a new space.
If you know of a nearby 1.5-car-sized garage that allows light vehicle maintenance, please contact us as soon as possible. Your help could keep a dive shop alive in San Francisco!
TRAVEL & TOURS
It's typical when Divers learn together they stay together. We travel in small groups together often. When it comes to fun dives or guided tours we sync up with partners from Bamboo Reef, Aquarius Dive Shop, Sonoma Coast Divers, and other great shops throughout the Bay Area. Each shop we recommend we also dive with.
Join Bay Area School of Diving as we explore scuba dive sites around Monterey Bay, Carmel, and Sonoma. Fun dives are a great way to keep scuba skills proficient and remain in touch with other divers. You also have an excellent way to learn about what Monterey, Carmel, & Sonoma have to offer to scuba divers in the way of marine animals and diving experiences.
We select a shore dive site or charter a boat to go to places unreachable from the shore. Our shore dives include a barbecue and drinks to enjoy as you share exploits with your fellow divers. Boat dives, we get together back on land at a nearby restaurant to talk about the dives. Experienced and knowledgeable diver leaders are present to ensure you have a safe and fun experience.
